the B.I.G.  ~   Brain Injury Gathering
a support group for anyone who has experienced a concussion, head injury, or stroke

A brain injury changes everything!!!

If you've been there, or you're walking alongside someone who has, You Know how isolating and confusing the journey can be.

This gathering is a space to find support,

to be truly understood, and to connect with others who get it!

Together, we explore not just the struggle, but what wants to emerge when we tend to what's been disrupted with care and curiosity. Not just coping, but discovering what becomes possible.

Come as you are!

No need to explain, to have it all together, or to show up any particular way.

Here, you can simply be yourself

seen, heard, and understood by others who know what this journey is like.

Connection, reflection, and YES ~laughter and joy too!

They're all part of the journey.

I started the B.I.G. in Sebastopol, CA. It still meets there when I return to visit,

yet has shifted to online.

In-person Washington and online gatherings are in the works—

reach out if you'd like to be part of it.

The B.I.G. is a peer support group. It isn’t therapy or medical care, and it doesn’t replace professional help.
